Data & Measurement
DartAds measures DartNode's own advertising. Here is exactly what it records, why, and what we will never do with it. The full legal detail lives in the DartAds Privacy Policy.
What DartAds records
When a visitor reaches dartnode.com by clicking one of our ads, DartAds records a small set of signals so we can tell which ads lead to real customers and which clicks are fraudulent.
Ad Click Identifiers
The click identifier Google appends to the landing URL (gclid, gbraid, or wbraid) and the landing page it pointed to. This is what lets a later signup be credited to the ad that earned it.
Network Signals
The visitor's IP address, the network it belongs to, and the browser user agent. These exist to separate genuine visitors from bots and click farms.
Conversion Events
When an ad-attributed visitor signs up or places an order, DartAds records that the event happened and its value, linked to the original click identifier.
How that data is used
- Conversion reporting. Signups and orders are reported to Google Ads as conversions tied to the originating click identifier, so our campaigns optimize toward real customers. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
- Fraud screening. Network signals feed the invalid-traffic screening that excludes abusive sources from our campaigns.
- First-party scope. All of this serves DartNode's own marketing. DartAds does not run campaigns for third parties and has no outside clients.
- Never sold. DartAds data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers, in any form.
- No sensitive targeting. DartAds promotes hosting products. It does not build audiences from sensitive categories and does not target individuals.
Questions about your data
Attribution records are kept only as long as they are useful for measurement and fraud analysis, then removed. For any question about data DartAds may hold, including requests to access or delete it, contact the DartNode team and reference DartAds.
