DartAds Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 | Last Revised: October 23, 2026
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Snaju Inc., doing business as DartNode ("DartNode," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with DartAds, the advertising management application that DartNode built, owns, and operates. It covers:
- this website, ads.dartnode.com, which describes the DartAds platform;
- the DartAds application itself, which plans, launches, measures, and protects advertising campaigns for exactly one advertiser: DartNode; and
- the advertising measurement that DartAds performs on DartNode's own websites (dartnode.com and its subdomains).
DartAds is a first-party, internal tool. It is not offered for sale, it has no outside clients, it does not operate an advertising network, and it does not display advertisements to you. Use of DartNode's hosting services generally is governed by the separate DartNode Privacy Policy; where the two overlap, this document controls for DartAds.
2. Information DartAds Collects
2.1 Visitors to this website (ads.dartnode.com)
This site is informational. It requires no account and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Our web servers keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and capacity purposes, retained for up to ninety (90) days.
2.2 Advertising measurement on DartNode websites
When a visitor reaches dartnode.com by clicking one of DartNode's own advertisements, DartAds records:
- Click identifiers: the identifier the advertising platform appends to the landing URL (for Google Ads: gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), the landing page, the campaign it belongs to, and a timestamp;
- Conversion events: if that visit later results in a signup or an order on dartnode.com, DartAds records that the event happened, its value, and the click identifier it is attributed to;
- Invalid-traffic signals: the IP address, network, and browser user agent of visits to advertising landing pages, used to detect bots, click farms, and click fraud.
DartAds does not track your activity on websites other than DartNode's own, does not read the contents of any DartNode customer account or hosted server, and does not build advertising profiles of individuals.
2.3 Google user data (Google Ads API and OAuth)
DartAds connects to Google services using OAuth credentials for Google accounts owned or administered by DartNode staff. Through that connection it receives:
- Basic profile information of the authorizing DartNode staff account (email address and account identifiers), used solely to authenticate and label the connection; and
- Google Ads account data for DartNode's own advertiser account, accessed through the Google Ads API: campaign structures, ad groups, keywords, advertisement text, budgets, bids, keyword planning estimates, and aggregate performance statistics (impressions, clicks, cost, conversion counts).
This is business data about DartNode's own advertising account. DartAds does not request or receive Gmail content, Google Drive files, contacts, calendar data, or any other category of Google user data.
3. How Information Is Used
DartAds uses the data above exclusively to:
- plan, create, launch, and manage DartNode's own advertising campaigns (every launch requires explicit human approval and campaigns are pushed to Google Ads in a paused state);
- measure which advertisements produce real signups and orders, by reporting conversion events back to the advertising platform as described in Section 4;
- detect and exclude invalid traffic (bots, click fraud) so DartNode does not pay for fake clicks;
- enforce budget guardrails, spend caps, and audit logging over DartNode's own campaigns.
DartAds does not use any of this data to:
- serve or target advertisements at any individual;
- build, buy, or sell audience segments or profiles;
- train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
- make fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on any person.
4. Conversion Reporting to Google
DartAds reports conversion events (for example, "this ad click led to a signup") back to Google Ads using the click identifier Google itself assigned. Each report contains the click identifier, the conversion action name, a timestamp, and, where applicable, an order value. It does not contain your name, email address, account contents, or anything you host with DartNode. Google processes these reports under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use)
DartAds' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- data received from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve DartAds' user-facing campaign management features for DartNode's own advertising;
- we do not transfer Google API data to third parties except as necessary to operate the application on infrastructure under our control, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice;
- we do not use Google API data for advertising targeting of any person, and we do not sell it;
- we do not use Google API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models;
- human access to Google API data is limited to DartNode staff who operate the platform, and occurs only with the account holder's consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or on data aggregated for internal operations.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
DartNode does not sell, rent, or lease any DartAds data, and has never done so. DartAds data is disclosed only:
- To Google Ads: the conversion reports described in Section 4, and the campaign management instructions the DartNode team approves;
- To infrastructure under our control: DartAds runs on DartNode's own servers in the United States;
- For legal reasons: when disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of DartNode, our users, or others;
- In a business transfer: if DartNode is acquired or merges, with notice as required by law.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Click identifiers and conversion records | Up to 24 months, then deleted or irreversibly aggregated |
| Invalid-traffic screening signals | Up to 12 months |
| Google Ads account data cached by DartAds | Refreshed continuously; deleted within 30 days of access revocation |
| OAuth tokens | Stored encrypted; invalidated immediately on revocation |
| Web server logs for this site | Up to 90 days |
You may request deletion of DartAds measurement data tied to your visit or account at any time by emailing privacy@dartnode.com. We respond within thirty (30) days.
8. Revoking Access
A Google account administrator can revoke DartAds' access to their Google account at any time from Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon revocation, stored tokens are invalidated and cached Google API data is deleted within thirty (30) days.
9. Security
DartAds data is protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls and role separation for DartNode staff, encrypted storage of OAuth tokens (never written to logs), audit logging of platform actions, and the platform-wide kill switch that can halt all DartAds activity instantly. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but these controls are tested and reviewed as part of DartNode's security program.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under the GDPR and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor verified requests from all users regardless of jurisdiction, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right. Contact privacy@dartnode.com; if your request is denied, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
11. Children
Neither this website nor DartAds is directed to individuals under eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact privacy@dartnode.com and we will delete it promptly.
12. International Transfers
DartNode is based in the United States and DartAds data is processed and stored in the United States. Where data originates from other jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the platform or the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Revised" date above. Material changes will be flagged prominently on this site.
