How It Works

DartAds runs DartNode's advertising as a pipeline: plan, draft, review, launch, measure, protect. Software handles the repetition. People make the calls.

The Pipeline

From idea to accountable spend

Each campaign moves through six stages. Nothing spends money until stage four, and stage four requires a person.

01

Plan

The team picks a product to promote. DartAds researches candidate keywords and estimates what each would cost against what the product earns, so weak ideas die on paper instead of in the ad account.

02

Draft

Studio assembles the campaign: ad groups, keywords, ad copy, and creative imagery, all as a draft stored on DartNode's side. Drafts can be edited, rebuilt, or thrown away freely.

03

Review

A member of the team reads the full draft: every headline, every keyword, every budget number. Edits happen here, before the campaign exists anywhere outside DartNode.

04

Launch

The approved draft is pushed to Google Ads in a paused state. It only starts serving when a person presses Enable. There is no path to live spend that skips this step.

05

Measure

Visitors who arrive from an ad are matched to what they actually do. Real signups and orders are reported back to Google Ads as conversions, so optimization is based on outcomes rather than clicks.

06

Protect

Twice-daily optimization passes adjust bids and budgets within preset limits, and a five-minute screening cycle hunts for invalid traffic. Sensitive changes queue for human approval.

Platform Integration

How DartAds uses the Google Ads API

DartAds connects to Google Ads through the official Google Ads API, under DartNode's own credentials, for DartNode's own advertiser account.

  • Campaign management. Creating and updating campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads that the team drafted and approved in Studio.
  • Keyword planning. Pulling keyword ideas and volume estimates to ground campaign planning in real search data.
  • Reporting. Reading campaign, keyword, and budget performance so the team can see what the spend is doing.
  • Conversion upload. Reporting signups and orders that happened on dartnode.com back to Google Ads as offline conversions tied to the originating ad click.
  • Single first-party account. The integration serves exactly one advertiser: DartNode. No third-party accounts are accessed or managed.
